With Hill as Prez and a Democratic Congress, watch for the Dems to change the two term limit.

My wife is convinced that Hill will pick Bill as VP. I disagree with her (because I read somewhere that it is illegal since if Hill passed away or stepped down, Bill would be President again, violating the law). I don’t know if this has been confirmed or not.

But Hill will likely pick Bill Richardson to consolidate the Hispanic vote. Or a Anglo male that is non-threatening (or an Asian Democrat to capture that demographiic).

The Anglos have worked hard to erase race as an issue in the county. Its too bad that the Latino and Black communities still cling to racial boundaries for the most part. Hence, this election will be about race pandoring.

This is why the Repubs are probably dead in this election.

Hillary can't pick Bill for two reasons--no one ineligible to be President can be elected VP, and they are both legal residents of New York, so the NY electors would not be able to vote for both of them in the electoral college.

The only way Bill could become President again would be if he was Speaker of the House and both the Presidency and Vice Presidency became vacant at the same time. I believe the House of Representatives is permitted to select as Speaker someone who isn't a member of the body, but I don't that has ever actually happened.

I don’t think it’s unconstitutional for Bill to be pres IF he comes to office as a VP. And I haven’t read the amendment, but isn’t it “consecutive” terms, and 10 years total?
