The law suit was in federal court in Maryland. I believe the guy who filed the lawsuit was award $1 million in damages and $9 million in punitive damages. I remember one of this people said that she only had $300 dollars to her name.

With the amount of coverage Ledger’s death has gotten over the last 24 hours, you’d think he was a National hero..... Honestly. I had NO idea who this guy was and thought, momentarily, it had some import. Not to anybody on this planet, maybe to his family. Apparently, he didn’t think anything of them, only himself.
