Well, I’m stunned. And after reading through about 280 comments, I see that all but 2 or 3 people are also stunned.
Maybe people will forget this in due course, but I don’t see how it can help Huckabee one bit, and it can only hurt Hunter.
Hunter never had a chance this election cycle, but I thought he might be a good prospect for the future. Now I’m not so sure. Seems to me this was a good way to undermine his reputation for no useful purpose.
Who would you have him endorse? The rest are gun-grabbing baby killers or a traitorous bastard. Socialists all, to boot.
I wonder what would happen here if NRTL decided to endorse Huckabee, now that Fred is gone.
I am not stunned by Hunter endorsement of Huckabee. Huckabee is solid on the social issues (pro-guns, pro-life, etc) and they both want the Fair Tax. Hunter called Romney, Rudy G, and McCain the Ted Kennedy part of the Republican party also Romney in a debate stated that he did not think a border fence was really necessary while Huckabee has been supportive of the border fence despite his failures on the immigration issue as governor. Romney by the way raised fees on everything in Mass. which is a tax but it seems only Huckabee gets any slack for raising taxes I think Romney has better spin doctors than Huckabee. I have not decided on who I will vote for but I am not yet ready to buy into Romney is conservative and Huckabee is a socialist when looking at there record they are only different in that Huck is a better social conservative while Romney is the better fiscal conservative.
Actually, I already called Hunter picking someone FR hates a while ago, though I thought it would be McCain, since he’s a fellow Vietnam vet.
I wonder with Hunter being called a traitor now, what prominent Republican politicians are there at all for FR to rally around? I’m not just talking about presidential candidates.
