I’m frustrated by this as well... but look at it this way. Huckabee is the only guy Hunter is still on good terms with. Hunter has criticized Romney on Bain Capital, McCain on immigration, Thompson on China (though he’s not a factor now), and said he would not compromise on Abortion (nixing Giuliani). Huckabee has complemented Hunter... so this is his only shot at a cabinet position or VP run. Not sure if I agree or like it yet... but I can understand partially his reasoning. Hunter is idealistic, and he has things he wants to get done and right now this may be his only avenue to do it.

That all assumes that Huckabee is the nominee and wins the general. HUGE assumption. Actually, a downright scary assumption.

Which was complete idiocy. Romney left Bain years ago; he has no control whatsoever over their current activities. Hunter showed himself to be a complete loon when he did that.
