For those of you who watch "ESPN First Take" in the later morning, may have noticed something missing. Something like... the co-host?
Dana Jacobson has reportedly been suspended for "remarks" she made at the January 12th roast of morning talksters Mike Golic and Mike Greenberg (Mike & Mike In The Morning) in Atlantic City.
The pressofatlanticcity.com reports that Jacobson was so drunk and foul-mouthed, that she was booed off the stage.ESPN anchor Dana Jacobson made an absolute fool of herself, swilling vodka from a Belvedere bottle, mumbling along and cursing like a sailor as Mike & Mike rested their heads in their hands in embarrassment. (Comedian Eddie) Griffin came to the podium to defend her after she was booed by the crowd. Ross eventually had to pull her off stage, too.
Aside from her perpetuation of the foul-mouthed sailor thing, what could she have said that was so bad that she was booed off the stage, and suspended by ESPN?

Is anything more unforgivable than rotten taste in vodka? I think not.
According to a report by someone in attendance at the event, Dana Jacobson's rant included the following
"f*** Notre Dame"
"f*** touchdown Jesus"
and the step-aside-because-lightning-is-about-to-strike
"f*** Jesus"
Needless to say, Notre Dame was not amused.
While we in no way condone Ms. Jacobson's comments, we're aware of the circumstances in which they occurred, and in the interest of forgiveness, trust that she and ESPN will address the matter in an appropriate way.
Notre Dame spokesman Dennis Brown
I believe the Catholic League took her to task more than Notre Dame did.
There’s few things uglier than a public flameout.
She needs to go get detoxed. Find a less stressful job. Maybe at Wal-Mart.
Can you imagine if she spoke against the Muslim guy?
I’m sure glad she didn’t say f*** Allah, because that would have been taken as an unforgivable (and of course “insensitive”) offense by EVERYONE./s
I have no doubt she would’ve been immediately fired.
(And would be living in hiding because of the fatwa issued agaist her.)
I read the whole thing. What’s the “Quote of the Day” though?
Never drink real alcohol onstage. Pretend drunks are always funnier than real ones.
Jacobson’s initial “statement” that started this all.
