I'm glad you guys are Patriots, and love your Navy. Really. And I truly do wish you well with those two carriers under construction, though I'd suggest that having a third would make the whole enterprise work better. You'll note that we have 11 of them, but (I just checked www.navy.mil) only three deployed at the moment. Also 4 Amphibious Assault ships.

Somebody was moaning that you guys should have flown whatever equipment out to the carrier ... I posted the picture to point out that she's a bit small, compared to what that fellow was likely thinking.

USS Enterprise (if you're wondering what a "supercarrier" really looks like) was launched in 1961. I seem to recall that in the Age of Sail, it was not uncommon for Royal Navy ships to be older than most of their crew, possibly including even the Captain. Looks like we're there, again ...
