For an Alaskan, it looks like Obama might actually be a better choice that McCain. He has at least given hints that he would allow us to have an economy here rather than sacrifice us to the gods of global warming and environmentalism. McCain doesn’t understand that people have to work for a living. He only understands that which gives him glory in the media. He is more beholden to the media than anyone imaginable—and certainly more than Obama, I am sorry to say. This is bad news.

While I absolutely agree with you that Alaska needs to be gotten out from under the thumb of the enviroMarxists, it doesn't seem to me that electing another Marxist is the way to go about it.

A better solution to the dilemma is to see to it that McQueeg doesn't get the nomination. Romney, G-d knows, is no prize, but I'd rather have gonorrhea than pancreatic cancer. Wouldn't you?
