” A deadlock Republican convention turns to the most qualified Republican of them all to be president on the fifth ballot, Dick Cheney. And he wins in a landslide in November.” Bill Kristol, Fox News Sunday 12/23/2007

Cheney would be the frontrunner if his health weren’t such an issue. And there’s no doubting his conservative bonafides.

I’d love to see it just to watch the drive-by’s completely melt down.

You bet. That would be the main reason to do it. His qualification for the job would be a bonus.

“Cheney would be the frontrunner if his health weren’t such an issue?”

It doesn’t seem to have affected his job as VP.
And I would say that Dick Cheney has been the finest VP that I can remember!

“I’d love to see it just to watch the drive-by’s completely melt down.”

How ‘bout a
Dick Cheney/ Ann Coulter or a Dick Cheney/Mark Levin ticket?
Talk about a Leftist Meltdown?
That would be a meltdown second only to Chernobyl!LOL

He’s a social liberal and he’s for open borders.

If you don’t put in Cheney because of health, and if Romney turned out to win the votes for nomination, why not put Cheney in anyway and run Romney as the vp?

Of course Cheney may not like the idea of running under those conditions, but maybe he wouldn’t mind. If his health started to deteriorate, he could resign and let Romney take over. He could be president for a couple of years and then retire.

What do you think?
