~”And despite what everyone thinks, I think hed obliterate Clinton in a debate.”~
I agree. He’ll watch her with rapt attention, smiling politely, waiting his turn, then proceed to cordially tear her to pieces with optimism and good sense.
She’ll get frustrated and shrill and lost a half of a percentage point in the polls each time.
One thing about it is, if Hillary’s opponent even gives a hint of rudeness or poor civility, Clinton will play the victimized woman card. But such behavior is utterly outside the realm of Romney’s instincts. He may be the only man we have who can go up against her and still have women liking him at the end.
Romney’s going to win over a lot of Dims as well, I think, in the women category. Women like to see a family oriented man. And I agree...Hilary, in the end, will turn vicious, because she isn’t going to get what she wants. She’ll try to dig up the past on Mitt (as a lot of Freepers have done here) for reasons why he shouldn’t win votes, and she’s going to do and say whatever she can to take power.
The debate will be real key in the general, and that is why I am more than optimistic about the election. If Barak were to beat Hilary, he would suffer a worse fate. Not only would his politics be dismantled, but Mitt would more than likely play on his youth and inexperience.
