Romney had very positive things to say about him and basically said he or any other GOP candidate would be luck to have Fred. He definitely extended a hand.

Typical of Romney — he ran a nasty, dirty campaign against Thompson. But now that he wants to pick up Thompson’s voters, he’s shameless enough to pander. We’re all too stupid to remember what he did a month ago, right?
