Alan Keyes launches Texas swing

January 22, 2008

On Tuesday, presidential candidate Alan Keyes began a six-week grassroots tour of Texas, originally his home state. Keyes is a 1968 graduate of Cole High School in San Antonio.

Although Keyes will make excursions outside Texas as needed, and will continue his nationwide radio blitz to counter the media's virtual blackout of his campaign, he plans to camp out in Texas until its primary on March 4. As most pundits agree, if Super Tuesday fails to produce a "presumptive" Republican nominee, Texas becomes all the more important as the last big prize of the primaries.

Endorse Alan, Jim. What do you have to lose with the rest of these RINOs?

Come on, let’s have some fun! We’ve got a whole two weeks, at least! ;-)

If this republic has to go down, let’s at least go down with our boots on.

Consider it an experiment in what FR is actually capable of...

Amen to that, EV. :-)

Enough media manipulation of our vote. Our vote; our voice. Screw the kingmakers.

That could perhaps be the greatest tagline of all time!

Alan Keyes is still in it??

Keyes can campaign on a shoestring and his voice.

Oh, and his conservative principles. Let's not forget those. Lord knows everyone else has.

The media is pretending only one of the parties has a black candidate running.

And that only one party has a woman running.

Of course it would help if Dr. Hoa Tran would actually campaign. Even a website would be a nice.

I saw Gatemouth Brown open for Eric Clapton about 15 years ago. Great fiddle & guitar playing — really stole the show from Clapton.

If he wins the nomination, he can run with Katherine Harris as his running mate.

Ouch!

Ol’ Clarence and his ilk were the ones Clapton (and others) try to copy. I regret I never saw Clarence live, although our band once played on same bill as Cream as the opening act.
