And Johnny Mav McCain is anti free speech, pro govt.utility regulation(McCain-Leiberman), pro illegal, pro-tax, throw our MIAs under the bus. And according to Rush yesterday, he talks prolife, but has actually entered a court brief against a right to life group in MI(or MN or WI--one of the far north states.)--he has talked the talk, but no evidence he walked the walk.I will write in for Fred or vote for Mitt. He is at least a new face on the national scene--Mav McCain is old and very bad news.

Maybe it’s time we all stop bitching and stand behind the most conservative candidate in the race, which is Mitt.
Those who won’t vote in the general if they don’t get their way can just leave the party, they consider their “principles” more important than our country and that’s just pathetic.
Mitt is our best chance and a great man, I’ll stand beside him as our candidate and will vote for him in the primary, and the way things are looking, in the general election.

You may very well get your wish. I would not be shocked to see either:
A complete re-tooling of the GOP with a focus on sincere consistent conservatives.
The collapse of the GOP and the generation of a new party focused not on getting along with liberals, but with forwarding the principles that made this country great and that can save her in the future.
Feel free to sacrifice your principles, and have fun looking yourself in the mirror each morning knowing that you sold out what you believe for what you think OTHER people want.

Wow. That's classy.
I hope the Fredhead will give Mitt a second look. He surely deserves it.

Gee, I agree, however I hate to disappoint you but I did think about what I would do if Thompson dropped out. Romney is my second choice however I am not thrilled about it. For me, by the time my state votes, this may all be over. I do not have a 3rd choice.

I wonder if Huck will let Ed Rollins write his statement? Huck was out GLOATING within minutes of the announcement. FOX had his smarmy *ss on saying "Well, I guess the South will be a lot easier now".

Romney took my advice and did the classy thing. He just polarized Fred supporters against Huckabee, who used Thompson's exit as another opportunity to bash Fred. Exactly. Mitt was a class act while Huckabee gloated on Fox.

No, I don’t remember. He’s really a smooth operator. Just look good, say the right thing at the right time and hope the short attention span of voters is true. Act nice and accomplishments are not needed - I’ll swoon them off their feet. It worked for BillC why not him?
