Frankly, I cannot fathom the mind of somebody who would go from supporting Thompson to supporting Huckabee. It just does not make any sense.

It's a Democrat operative who said that. Huck is their dream candidate.

I agree it makes no sense. It seems to me Romney benefits most because it seems to me he and Fred have been splitting the same voters.
