McLean, VA - Senator Fred Thompson today issued the following statement about his campaign for President:

"Today I have withdrawn my candidacy for President of the United States. I hope that my country and my party have benefited from our having made this effort. Jeri and I will always be grateful for the encouragement and friendship of so many wonderful people."

That's what I don't understand. How we got left in this position is beyond me. I don't know what to think, and am not sure who to vote for at this point.

Wow, they even removed your post. I definitely would post all the links on your homepage, not only for your own reference ,but for others to read. I’ve NEVER heard of lists of links considered spamming before. A lot of us have done that on a regular basis for different topics.

Well, if you hand over the troops and judicial candidates to the DNC, you may be right.

However, if you feel at least some modicum of concern for this country, you will do what you can to keep the Clintons, Obama and Edwards far, far away from the Oval Office.

I’m extremely disappointed, too, but the troops and their families, as well as the future of the judicial branch deserve our best efforts.
