McCain is more dangerous. Hillary is a populist like Bill and will not purposely alienate the majority of American voters. If she does she will be strongly opposed by Republicans in congress.

McCain is a true believer in amnesty and he has a history of reveling in his opposition to Republican principles. Republicans in congress would be much more reluctant to oppose a measure he promoted than one promoted by Hillary.
