Well, it doesn’t work that way. From a campaign perspective, at least Huckabee and Romney have competed in every state and McCain has competed everywhere but Iowa. They did not try to do it their own way, they tried to play by the normal rules. But the two guys who didn’t want to go the traditional routes, Giuliani and Thompson, might collectively get less than ten delegates.
I agree. But my comment about Rudy going ‘all-in’ in Florida is not completely accurate either. After all, Rudy made 40 trips to New Hampshire,,,,and spent $5 million there—until finally realizing that they had no use for him in NH, at which time—he pulled out. That should have told him something right there.
