I can’t imagine anyone here on FR is going to celebrate McCain leading the polls. McCain has stood strong on Iraq, and he deserves admiration on that. Outside of that fact, he is nothing but a thorn in the side of conservatism. Rudy is not a social conservative but he represents a much stronger fiscal and foreign policy side than McCain. McCain my be pro-life, but he is a pending disaster for the cause due to his main goal of ‘getting along’ with the Washington elite and media.

Certainly not me. Rudy is a goner anyway, but between McCain and Romney, Romney is much better.

Mitt Romney would be better on taxes and spending than McCain.
Mitt Romney would be better on judges and life than McCain.

we’re celebrating Rudy’s loss in the polls. Rudy would destroy the pro-life cause for years after this election. He can’t be tolerated
