FLAT TAX people. It’s the only truly FAIR tax.

I haven’t read every post but I’m sure you know that the Income Tax started out as a Flat Tax ... I was for Steve Forbes way back when because I believed that he could eliminate the special deals built into the income tax and get it back to where it was originally ... Reagan came close with 2 tax tiers and eliminating a lot of deductions ... Do you still believe that that is possible? I don’t ... not without cutting off it’s authorization ,, the 16th ammendment.
I think any tax can get out of hand, it’s always happened anyway. Taxes that are for just one thing but stay on for another, increases, etc. I can see it happening with any tax or fee.
