As I’ve said before: If conservatives refuse to support the GOP nominee then the Republicans will simply further moderate their positions to win over moderate voters in order to remain a viable party. Conservatives need to think very carefully about their next move.

I agree with you - the so-called Conservatives that categorically denounce McCain are just opening the door wide for Hillary and her whole Leftist machine.

Betrayal in Iraq, abortion, gun-grabbing, and new Supreme Court justices sponsored by the same lady that gave us Janet Reno.

Meanwhile, the Conservatives among us are frittering the time away with irrelevancies like Ron "I can't surrender fast enough" Paul...

Any "conservative" that refuses to vote for the candidate that will have to go against Hillary and that idiot Bill is contributing to the destruction of this country.

Go sell your spill to the liberals.... I mean moderates, conservatives have lived under their mean ugly vengeful destructive means and methods. If that sums up the GOP there is nothing 'right' about it any longer.

Conservatives may have to form a third party if the GOP abandons conservative principles. Political parties don't last forever. If they fail to represent the views of most of their constituents, they die or shrink.

"then the Republicans will simply further moderate their positions"

Maybe NOT.
If we demonstrate just how much... we loathe RINOs more than the vile left.... MAYBE... others will join the fight!!!

Your tagline:

The Comeback Candidate: John McCain - Leadership for America

Great. Advice from another liberal on what conservatives ought to do. As though liberals have the interests of conservatism in mind.

There are conservatives who might accept a McCain, and many others who will not. There are some who will consider formation of a 3rd party, most will reject that option. If the GOP is permanently lost to conservatives as a vessal of conservatism, then they will have to look at that option.

But one thing we won't do is seek advice from those who don't support conservatism and seek to advance it. It will be disingenuous advice.
