Just to reassure the rational folks on FR, keep in mind that the most radical of the right wing types doing some chest beating about staying home are likely, statistically via what we might call electoral gerrymandering, to already live in a safe state.
There will be a few to jump up and try to elevate their own importance by claiming Ohio or Iowa, but in general they are all in Texas or the deep south where the outcome is likely not in doubt anyway.
