This just shows why “hate crimes” are such a joke: The perps attacked the kid, insulted him because of his background and religion, and threatened to kill him, and it’s only a “possible” hate crime. If the five perps had been white Christians not only would it unequivocally be labeled a hate crime, but it would be front page, above-the-fold news.
