Currently, I strongly expect that Romney will win the nomination outright. And if he does not, a brokered convention is likely to end with Romney as the nominee in any case.

A brokered convention would be great, if it resulted in Fred being the nominee. But I don't (yet) see that as a likely future.

I think all of our candidates, excluding McCain, have greater curb appeal than She Who Must Be Obeyed. Like-ability, is a factor in an election. (Of course as I write this, I wonder why McCain polls above single digits since the guy is not likaeable IMHO. Perhaps the same thought is going on over on the other side. A lot of Dems must be thinking Obama is more likable, why is Hill stomping all over his lunch).
