This is exactly why the stake needs to be driven through McCain in Florida. His national front-runner status needs to be put to rest.
I think Mitt could pull off a win in Florida. And then a win in Maine (a closed Caucus—not to McCain’s advantage) on February 1 that could very well push him over the top. But things have to fall together.
