I just spoke with the Thompson campaign. FRed is still with his Mom, hasn't left.
They can't release any information, and FRed hasn't offered any insight as to his plans yet.
Please Pray for FRed's Mother, and for FRed Thompson.

As we have previously reported Fred Thomspon is in Tennessee visiting his 90 plus year old mother who is recovering from an illness
There will be no decisions today as Thompson mulls whether to carry on his bid for the presidency but he is expected to say something definitive tomorrow, probably first thing in the morning.
While no one in the campaign will be surprised if he withdraws they have no idea which way he will go and they do have some money if he should decide to continue.
Aides acknowledge the obvious: SC was very disappointing and 3rd place was not a momentum builder in their view.
On 8 Jan the campaign staff a took pay cut and Thompson knows he owes his staffers some certainty so they can plan for their future, especially younger staffers who need a paycheck.
Fredheads nationwide are waiting too…..

Why wait until Tuesday? Why not today? Why leave his supporters hanging? This would be devastating news to his supporters, so why not get it over with?
I heard on Saturday that Fred was staying in until Florida even if he came in 3rd in SC. So now he comes in 3rd, and there’s talk he’s dropping out.
They’ve been saying Fred was going to drop out since before the first vote in New Hamshire.
(Recall, the first drop-out lie was planted by Romney camp via Politico.)
The media want him out because he’s a threat to Hillary getting the office. He’s the one true conservative in the race (after Hunter conceded defeat).
Prayers up.
That’s why I wish he would stay in. We haven’t gotten into the closed primaries yet. He’s only competed in 2 primaries, and he came in 2nd in one he didn’t compete in (Wyoming). My sincere belief is that McCain and Hucklebee won’t do well in these states. I believe that would open the door for Romney and Fred.
Hope Fred’s Mom is okay, prayer said.

Prayers up for Fred’s mother and her family. Prayers also for Fred that God will give him the strength to keep on going and that God-willing, he will win the nomination.

Grant Fred Your wisdom and discernment as he faces important decisions regarding his campaign. Reward him for choosing to be with his precious mother during her time of need.
