James Cagney dancing down the long staircase in Yankee Doodle Dandy is amazing. Especially since he’s looking straight ahead and not down at the steps.
I wholeheartedly agree. It is one of the great scenes of American cinema. Cagney was a great dancer although he's usually more remembered for his "gangster" roles.
