Thanks, but this is a conservative site. We will continue posting the truth about liberals and RINOs.

I am proud to be a conservative poster at this conservative site. I have a 7 year conservative posting history. I support Romney because I am conservative. Exit polls demonstrate that Romney gets his support from very conservatives, so I am not alone.

It is McCain, he without a FR Truth File, who demonstrates the RINO profile in exit polls, getting 3X the relative support from somewhat liberals in comparison to very conservatives.

I support a candidate with conservative positions, voters and endorsements. FR works against this candidate, and terms him a RINO. In doing so, it implicitly questions my conservatism, for supporting this "RINO". During the FReepathon FR essentially says to me: "Please support FR, RINO-lover".

FR is welcome to its opinion, but shouldn't expect to both question my conservatism and obtain my donation.

I thought McCain was your backup plan. ???? I have respect for the man, but don’t care for him either as a presidential candidate, but had the impression due to a thread you posted, that if he were to win the nomination, you knew he’d be better than the Democrat candidate.

I’ve been giving this a lot of thought. I wanted Fred to win in SC, and he didn’t. :( I think Fred needs a big boost from us, his biggest fans! Maybe we should encourage other FReepers to forego this FReepathon and ask them to send their money to Fred Thompson’s campaign instead. Afterall, he is the candidate of choice for FR, he’s endorsed by the owner of FR (the ONLY candidate for FR), and we all have to do what we can to help Fred Thompson win the presidency! I know FR, as a business, probably can’t pledge the money from the FReepathon to Fred’s campaign due to campaign rules, etc., but we could encourage FReepers to send their $$ to Fred rather than to Free Republic. The future of our country is at stake! Fred and Fred alone is the only man that can bring about change to the FR Conservative cause.

Maybe JR could even offer to match the amount FReepers send in to Fred? That very act could finally put JR on the national news! WOOHOOOOOO!!!!
