I would venture to guess that almost every registered republican agrees with everything Fred says and stands for. People have bought in to the media promoted idea that he can't win.

It's like what happened with Iraq, except this time republican voters didn't stand firm...they cut and ran.

Too many republicans who normally disdain polls and what the media says are buying the hype and falling into the hysteria about who is the electable candidate of the week. The polling and the media are very successfully shaping the results because too many republicans have turned off the parts of their brains that perform critical thinking tasks. In other words they have shut down their BS filters.
