I sincerely doubt whether Romney can win in a state that isn't either packed with Mormons or where his father wasn't governor. And I am a big fan of the guy himself. But I can't see him winning anything but low-population Western states from here to the convention. He cannot win FL, NY, NJ, TX or CA.
If conservatives will get behind him, he will win in those states. If they don’t, he won’t.
Look at the exit polls from the states where he’s won or come in second. He’s done very, very well with conservatives and Republicans.
It’s McCain who has depended on liberals, moderates, and independents for his votes, not Romney.
