It is so difficult when you reach the point in life where parents are getting very elderly and you’re subject to receiving a call in the middle of any given night saying they’re either very sick and in the hospital or else that they have passed away. When you’re young and parents are relatively young, you just don’t think about things like that under normal circumstances and then before you know it you’re thrown into having to face it. Age has a way of flying up and pouncing on you; and about by the time you bury your last parent you suddenly realize that you are old yourself.
Tell me about it I am facing the same thing and it is hard and heart breaking!
How you realize you are really useless in a situation like this there is nothing you can do to stop it and soon it is over!
In the mean time they don’t really know you they will mention you and not know you are the person they are talking about!
