Giving all us little people 800 bucks, and further devaluing our money while you do it, doesn't seem like a very good solution to me.
I keep asking myself if you have all that to give.....why are you still taking from us every week.
Heck some are even campaigning to take more, while praising a check for everyone. Bizarre
devaluing our money
Could you explain that, not sure I follow it yet.
Does anybody besides me feel that they're going to raise a thousand other current taxes by unnoticeable amounts to cover this $800? Isn't it obvious?
And yes, I do feel insulted and manipulated, not to mention enraged.
Yep. As much as I would love $800 to pay for one month of fuel between gasonline and heat, the government could fix this through tax cuts that create jobs. Further, with $100B and policy, the government could subsidize nuke plants, offshore, drilling, biodiesel (let’s skip ethanol for now) solar, wind, hydrogen. In other words, create a million or two jobs spurring energy independance and creating a massive energy export market.
I certainly do. Because it sure is amazing that this "stimulus" just happens to be in a major election year, isn't it?
