Romney pretty much quit South Carolina, kind of like Fred in New Hampshire and Rudi in well too many places to mention.
It’s a bit of a dirty trick, when you lose to Ron Paul you get to say, well I wasn’t even trying.
So when Mitt loses, it’s not a problem with his appeal, but he didn’t really want to win South Carolina.
It looks like Fred is getting Mitt’s voters. But if Fred still can’t break 25% in South Carolina, then I think he’s going to drop out - the support just isn’t there for him.
If Fred had a nickel for everyone who predicts he’s dropping out, he’d have plenty of money to stay till the end.
