You know it's that time again, election time, when politicos start invading our favorite fashion magazines. But one candidate who won't be appearing in one venerable fashion tome is Hillary Clinton who backed out of a spot in Vogue.
According to WWD, Clinton was all set to appear in US Vogue during the presidential race but backed out late last fall before the photo shoot was due to take place for fear of appearing too feminine.
You would think it was pretty clear Clinton has nothing against Vogue considering her traveling chief of staff Huma Abedin has been gracing the mag's pages as often as a starlet lately. Maybe she just doesn't think it's presedential.

I fully understand Hillary's dilemma. She's just too sexy, and the future Comman"derriere"-in-Chief must possess a certain air of dignity to present to the World.
Talk about a baseless fear.
Hillary Clinton appearing too feminine is definitely NOT going to be a problem.
I figure feminity is about item #2989 on a 3000 item list for Hillary!
*shiver*
While the men find other places to put their crotches?
Ach du lieber himmel! That picture was just plain cruel!
And by cruel, I meant cruel to all of us, not cruel to Sen. Cottage Cheese Thighs (D-N.Y.)
Talk about your unfounded fears.
Hillary is the Grand Wizard of Lesbianism.
There are very good female leaders. I give you Maggie Thatcher, and Jean Kirkpatrick as examples. Gender feminists have poisoned the well for them as much as for us.
Ew. LOL. What a way to start my weekend!
You have to agree--- she does have a cute little wiggle...
I stole the picture from a very talented Freeper, so it's all his fault. : )
Hey Anna.....I’ll bet John Edwards will do it!! He’s certainly not afriad of his looking too feminine!!
I can’t believe he would allow that and not think that his CHILDREN will see it also. He is a pig.
Hill, don’t jerk around with Anna Wintour. You may just be the Antichrist...but in case you haven’t heard, Anna outranks you. She’s the Devil. (Although I don’t know if she’s too particular about wearing Prada.)
:-D )))
I thought the first time that cover got posted on FR that our boy Wes looked entirely too much at home on it.
If Hillary really wants to be less feminine, and appear more statesman-like--- she could always try for the "Winston Churchill" look...
