Police Chief approached City Council with statistics on the number of man hours spent by PD on calls the security force could not handle at the 2 High Schools. (security force does not carry firearms) He had the backing of the school district. Crunching the numbers, the city would be saving money and manpower. Passed 7 to 0 by city council to have mini stations at the schools.

That makes sense. Strangely they must have more trouble at the schools where you live than my south Texas town. I can’t recall one really bad incident at our ‘mega’ high school.

We used to have two highschools and they decided to combine them. Here we are a few years later, new Superintendent, and they are now planning a THIRD high school, lol.
