I still hope Thompson can put out McCain and Huckabee in South Carolina. Romney took out McCain in Michigan, and is about to take out McCain in McCain’s back yard. I hope Thompson can take out McCain in Thompson’s back yard.

That was the way it should have gone, and Romney did his part in Michigan and will in Nevada, but Thompson has dropped the ball in South Carolina, unfortunately.

What Fred needs most is legitimacy and attention. The AntiFreds keep saying the same old stuff here on FR, dismissing his mannerisms as lazy or slow.

I, for one, am inspired when I listen to him. The more I hear, the more I like. The reporters and bloggers have been saying the same things about his campaign stops.

I don’t think Fred will knock McCain out in SC...I hope so, but I think a strong charge for Fred by SC Republicans may give Fred the boost he needs to be taken seriously.

His website has a bunch of videos of SC voters who have “Flipped for Fred.” They seem to be saying the same thing...once they hear him in his comfort zone, they like him and want to vote for him.

Fred needs time. I hope he gets it tomorrow.
