Ok, so she is Pro Se. She is representing herself. That’s why she’s in jail. She waived a lawyer. That is just stupid.

It might make for a great Hollywood film (But who would do an underdog movie in favor the pro-life position?).

I have to agree: it was a stupid move. Mrs. Holman might have had a good, constitutional case.

I have to agree: it was a stupid move. Mrs. Holman might have had a good, constitutional case.

While not artful in some respects, her motion gets her point across. Most attorneys would try to ingratiate themselves in some way with the judge. Mrs. Holman did not. Now she's in jail. Somehow I think she knew she might be called upon to make this sacrifice, and was willing.
