ain’t it the truth
I'm no Grisham (not yet, anyway!), but that's part of the story I'm trying to tell in my new book, how so many lawyers just throw more fuel on the fires burning in people's lives. Frustrating.
Dang.....I heard from a friend of mine who’s a tort lawyer in Jackson two weeks ago this was coming.
I know all these players and some of their kids.
Peters always had integrity issues.
His daughter at Prep was hot though.
You make me laugh. :) (the hot daughter from 30+ years ago. Wonder what she’s like now.)
She was very pretty.
Sheri
and the son was Mike
they were sorta in the Preppie crowd....I was firmly in the long haired rebellious rather small minority of herbalogists
been 32 years to be exact
I’m 50, she was a year behind me and he was a year ahead
there are 49 year old hot women around to be fair....she might be one....she was sure cute then
course that is not too uncommon in Mississippi
The only villians allowed in modern popular culture are: Big Business, the military, white South Africans, any member of any Christian church, anywhere, Southern sheriffs, generic rednecks, any and all Germans.
Well, I've already gotten somewhere. My book's coming out in April and I have no doubt God will use it to improve at least some things for some people. In fact, it already has, even in pre-release manuscript form.
While WSJ may be the only MSM source, it is not the only or the best place to get info about this growing mess.
The folks at yallpolitics.com have been covering this since the first day and continue to do an outstanding job.
Interestingly, they have a feature article outlining a link between Sruggs and Grisham.

No longer the "only" MSM source. I learned a few interesting facts about the expanding scandal from this surprisingly even-handed article in yesterday's New York Times:
http://www.nytimes.com/2008/01/20/business/20blake.html?scp=1&sq=delta
I’m still looking for a photo of P.L.Blake. I’m surprised the NYTimes didn’t manage to get one.

Just shows how slick P. L. is! All digital photos obviously have been zapped, and all analog photos shredded.
You answered just the question I was thinking.
If he was offered a bribe, you would think he'd be required to report it.
"BTW his current wife was one year behind me in HS"
She's very young! ;o)
BTW, thank you for the link!
If that story is true, it was a gross miscarriage of justice, and just plain sad for the family.
Between you, y’all know everybody! ;o)
Thanks, NerdDad!
Interesting site...bookmarked!
Good to see you!
Somebody has to prepare dinner and maintain the grounds.
ROTFLOL
An excellent choice!
Well done.
