I plan on giving him what I gave him in 2000, nothing. So I guess that is what he deserves in SC.

BTW, here in our state being the media anointed candidate is the last thing one wants if they desire a win.

McCain burned his bridges with me after he lost in 2000. He seemed to do everything in his power to make Pres. Bush look bad and himself look good.

He also impresses me as not emotionally stable. I would be scared to death of him as commander in chief of our armed forces.

Sadly, I don't think McCain will get what he "deserves" in my book.

This is the reason a Democrat will win the White House.

“Give Senator John McCain the S.C. victory he deserves”

Translation: “Give Hillary the Presidential Victory She Deserves”

John McCain mainly reflects mainstream conservative values, as evidenced by his calls for less government regulation and a reduction of federal spending, his opposition to tax hikes, his advocacy of Social Security and Medicare reform, his push for an overhaul of the tax code, and his support for a strong defense.

Wha...Wha...What? There must be two John McCains running because this is NOT the John McCain that I have grown to know in the years since 2000.

One of McCain’s most severe liabilities is the support of Lindsey Graham.

The only thing that cantakerous, loose cannon Democratophile deserves is a long walk off a short pier and I hope that once again his ambitions are frustrated.

He is not worthy of the Presidency.

Well known for an independent streak that has led to deviations from the party line, John McCain mainly reflects mainstream conservative values

Laughable attempt to square the first part of this sentence with the second...

Deserves? Only in the sense that some of the other possibilities (e.g. the Huckster) are worse.

Ah yes, the "d" word. Vote for McCain because he "deserves" it. Just like you "deserve" a new car. Everyone "deserves" a good-paying job. etc. etc...

It's an over-used word, and it glosses over any thoughtful analysis. Just why does Mr. McCain "deserve" to be the president?

The word "deserve" means that he has already done something, or that he is someone, which entitles him to something in return. If I'm employed, and I have worked the required hours, then I deserve to be paid my wages. If I have stolen a car, then I deserve to be punished.

What has John McCain done that entitles him to be the 2008 nominee? Was it the blatant restriction of free speech and the strengthening of incumbent security embodied in the McCain-Feingold legislation? Was it the clear provision of amnesty for millions of illegal aliens contained in legislation he supported along with Teddy Kennedy?

What conservative things has John McCain actually done?

Yes, give McCain what he deserves! A swift boot out!

Which reminds me. We seem to need some new voters in Arizona that won’t re-elect this lying, non-Conservative.

Eight years ago we urged voters in South Carolina's Republican presidential primary to support John McCain. His record since then has left us even more convinced that the Arizona senator should be the 2008 Republican presidential nominee.

Just what has the illustrious senator done that would make any conservative want to vote for him?

McCain’s determination to “get bin Laden” places shallow political theater within the heart of his campaign. Our real enemy is Wahhabi jihadism, not the latest sociopath prophet emerging from the Wahhabi/Salafi heresy.

Wahhabi/Salafi heresy not only justifies oligarchy, but also empowers stateless terrorism. This heresy considers Jews, Christians, Sunnis, Shi’as and secularists sub-human, legitimate objects for slaughter. These terrorists suborn traditional Muslim loyalties valuing family, tribe and country, and substitute limitless murder and destruction. Terrorist converts are not all stereotypical primitives, but also university graduates accommodating fanaticism within academic excellence in sciences and engineering. Hence, frightening capabilities emerge from fifty-year-old worldwide technologies and stockpiles for weapons such as Davy Crockett missiles firing 51-pound nuclear 0.02-kiloton warheads, and Astor torpedoes carrying Hiroshima size warheads. Chemical and biological agents can now emanate from dual-use facilities, and cottage industries.

State Department reports many African, Oriental and Asian countries are becoming allies against Wahhabi jihadism. Yet they remember our pathetic responses to fifteen terrorist actions by four successive Presidents. Minimum penance demonstrating credibility obliges persistence for Iraq representative government. Credibility requires thwarting al Qaeda determination for Babylon to become the rallying point for the Caliphate.

Sustaining initiatives of African, Oriental and Asian countries brings Global War on Terror victory by frustrating plans, breaking alliances and fracturing organizations of Wahhabi jihadists into ever less effective units. Without cities, countries or armies bin Laden and successor sociopath prophets emerging from the Wahhabi/Salafi heresy live out unnaturally shortened lives as pariahs. Sun Tzu would consider mobilizing allies for repeated campaign victories and minimizing bloodshed an extraordinary achievement for the “Long War”. McCain considers accomodating slumber in the face of terrorist intentions and capabilities a winning political strategy.
