He’s an open borders drag queen, and he’s piling on the make-up and jewels again to disguise his pro-illegal immigration record in time for the South Carolina primary. The Washington Times reports that he has signed a NumbersUSA pledge to oppose any new shamnesty measures and reduce illegal immigration through attrition. I don’t believe Mike Huckabee:

I’d loooooove to meet Michelle.

I had the opportunity to meet her in Houston, where she gave a speach on her book about the interment camps. My lunch partner had gone to college with her at ...oh shoot, some liberal arts college in NY, starts with an O... Oberlin (had to look it up).

Anyway, she was just as gracious in person as you would expect and had a terrific personality.

Christian charity does not include turning a blind eye to lawbreaking.

Christian charity is when Mike Huckabee gives HIS money to people who need it.

When He steals money from you and me to give to criminals he is not following the teachings of Yah'shua.

b'SHEM Yah'shua

And Huckabee is running sleazy push polls in SC against Fred Thompson as we speak.

Mike does not deserve the support of the largely good but clueless people who have fallen for all this.

Candidates who did things to stop illegal immigration:

Duncan Hunter

If only. Is he even a viable candidate in any state anymore? He came in a strong 1st in a Texas straw pole!

This is the real Huckster, under the makeup.

Huckabee promotes 'open door' policy at LULAC convention

"Pretty soon, Southern white guys like me may be in the minority," Huckabee said jokingly as the crowd roared in laughter.

By Wesley Brown

Arkansas News Bureau

LITTLE ROCK - In a impassioned speech before hundreds of influential Hispanic civil rights leaders from across the nation, Gov. Mike Huckabee told a captive audience Wednesday that America is great because it has always opened it doors up to people seeking a better way of life.

"I would hope that no matter who we are, or where we are from, that America should always be a place that opens its arms, opens it heart, opens its spirit to people who come because they want the best for their families ...," Huckabee said as the largely Hispanic audience gave him a standing ovation.

Huckabee was the keynote speaker, along with Tyson Foods Inc. Chairman and CEO John Tyson, at a noon luncheon of the League of United Latin American Citizens, which is holding its 76th annual convention in Little Rock.

About 10,000 political, community and business leaders, along with exhibitors and speakers are in Little Rock attending the convention at the Statehouse Convention Center. The convention started Monday and runs through Saturday.

Although he never actually talked about the U.S. or Arkansas immigration policy, Huckabee made it very clear where he stood on the issue. In his opening remarks, he said the nation will need to address the concerns of the Hispanic community because of its growing influence and population base.

"Pretty soon, Southern white guys like me may be in the minority," Huckabee said jokingly as the crowd roared in laughter.

He told the LULAC delegates that their presence in the state's capital city was very important because Arkansas has one of the fastest growing Hispanic populations in the nation. "Your gathering is so very significant for our state," Huckabee said. "We are delighted to have you."

Despite several light moments, Huckabee did not stray away from several controversial issues that made him a target of criticism during the recently ended 85th General Assembly. He said Arkansas needs to make the transition from a traditional Southern state to one that recognizes and cherishes diversity "in culture, in language and in population."

"This is an issue that is going to require extraordinary efforts on both sides of the border, particularly those coming from Mexico," Huckabee said of verifying the status of illegal aliens. "But I am confident that our government will recognize that we should accommodate people who wish to provide the best opportunities for their families (and) employers so that we can make sure our economy has the necessary work force."

During the legislation session, Huckabee criticized an immigration bill by Republican senators Jim Holt of Springdale and Denny Altes of Fort Smith as un-Christian, un-American, irresponsible and anti-life. Senate Bill 206, which died in the Senate, would have required proof of citizenship to register to vote and also force state agencies to report suspected cases of people living in the country illegally. Holt, R-Springdale, replied later to Huckabee's comments that Christian charity does not include turning a blind eye to lawbreaking.

Open Thread Message to Ms. Michelle Malkin:

If you patrol these waters here on FR, could you PLEASE kindly put in a strong word for DUNCAN HUNTER, or if possible, ENDORSE HIM OFFICIALLY as we are now in a critical phase of the nomination race.

We must get behind those who have a RECORD on this issue actually our favor.

That man is DUNCAN HUNTER.

You wrote the book on dangerous Illegal Immigration. Surely you can see that your word on DUNCAN HUNTER would mean a great deal to the cause and on behalf of this underdog struggling against the Establishment and the Powers That Be that want to turn us into a third world, incessantly Democrat-voting, socialist-nanny state, substandard cesspool of a nation.

Didn’t you know, Huckabee built a wall between the Arkansas and Mexican border when he was Governor.

You understate the case! I heard he went hunting for illegals every fall...and those he found didn't make it back south of the border. I also heard he signed a pledge to use nuclear weapons to create a radioactive canal between us and Mexico...

(Historical note: the last idea was suggested as a way to create a sea level canal. 50 routes were determined and surveyed for practicality and engineering feasibility. The bombs would have been detonated underground, creating interlocking craters and instantly forming a sea level canal. I'm just enough of a techno-geek to think it would be an awesome sight!)

Go to CPAC.....I looked up (really down-she IS short) and she was standing right next to me....she looked over at me and smiled her bright smile! I smiled back and refrained from saying anything as she was listening to the debate on stage. All the speakers were readily accessible to everyone who attends. Great fun.

So when shall we expect The Huckster standing in front of Duncan Hunter’s fence for photo-ops and brochures?

They'll probably just Photoshop him into a picture of that fence. That way, the photo would be as real as Huck's new "tough on illegals" stance.
