there was no RELEVANT conservative in the talking head circles.
Seriously, the etherial conservatives were USELESS before Reagan. They clink their country club banter but did NOTHING in the real world.
I call them “I got mine” conservatives. They made their way and no longer cared if the world burned to the ground.
