Anyone that listens to Rush knows that he is going to go for the most Conservative candidate out there.....obviously, in this race it is Thompson. But unfortunately, Fred is running 4th in S. Carolina and Florida according to those stupid polls....and I don’t think Fred has been to florida yet...we started voting Monday! I think it’s too late for Fred.....I really don’t think he wants it that bad....

Guess we know who’s writing all those MSM news releases about FRed now, don’t we? ;-)

I agree that Fred should not drop out. There is more than just idle talk of a brokered convention and between then and now, McCain will lose steam and Huckabee will just finally finish himself off.

The fact that you think Christians can’t criticize their opponents says a lot about you.

Rush must endorse Fred before Saturday!

*********
Yep. Rush’s poorly camouflaged support for Fred is stupid; it’s like being a little bit pregnant.

Rush will have nobody to blame but himself if we get stuck with a mutt.

Speak your peace Rush!!

Rush is only going to endorse CONSERVATISM. He’s never going to endorse one candidate...he endorses principles. It’s really easy to match people who support the principles....we don’t need to names dropped.....and he won’t.

As long as he wears his alledged Christianity on his sleeve and shouts “Jesus” thru a bullhorn” that would seemingly be ok with you.

Two words: Push Polling. Huck is a hypocrite. Jesus had much to say about people like that.

There is a difference between being a Christian and stating such and using Christianity to garner votes (and pander to voters).

The polls have been geting the ORDER of the wins pretty much spot on.

SC hinges on the Hucksters evangelical zombie vote and McCain amnesia.

I live with Christians. Which means I can smell an imposter from a mile away. Thanx for asking.

“evangelical zombie vote”...Gee..thats not bigoted or anything..

It just blows me away some of the so called “Republicans” in our party..

Reagan’s 11th Commandment goes out the window pretty easily with far too many of us...

I don’t think we know that the push polling is being done by the Huckabee campaign. I read somewhere that an automated call was going out through a third party organization. I’m not naive enough to think that there are not likely connections to the Huckabee campaign, but I think it’s also naive to think that the connection to the camaign is high level or authorized by Huckabee. Real easy for a swift boat type organization to do their own thing, with some members having friends or acquantences in the campaign, and NOT to have it be a campaign organized event. Everybody thinks “plausible deniablity” but people also need to remember that people really do do things on their own for their own purposes. You see it all the time on the web and it’s darn easy for any businessman that ever purchased an automatic dialer to do this sort of thing.

He could call a press conference and stop it right now if he wanted to. He don’t want to.

Fred Thompson has to make it on his own. If he is counting on Limbaugh to make him win then Fred Thompson cannot win.
