Yes, but I hate how people jump in line with whatever polls the media put out and don’t vote their hearts or their heads!

Those are called Moderates!

Rush just repeated his statement that in a matchup between Hillary and McCain, he thinks Hillary would win. I think he’s right. A lot of conservatives would vote 3rd party or not at all if McCain were the Republican nominee. Fortunately I don’t think there’s any chance of it.

Yeah, but isn’t Rush inching this way as well, coming around to Romney as more likely to win than Fred? If only it were a moderates-only disease!

I can’t believe that poll is all that accurate.

So far, none of the polls have been accurate when it came to the real vote results in these primaries. I tend to ignore polls as wild guesses.

Unless Fred or Romney pulls of a shocker, I don’t think SC matters that much. The delegate count is tiny and Florida is looming. I think Rudy is odds on favorite to win FL and that is a prescription for a brokered convention.

Not to argue, but he spend a most of the show talking about Romney yesterday. This, we know, is true.

It may just be that Rush believes the polls and is writing off the conservative candidate. I could be wrong.

“As much as I dislike Huckabee, I’d rather see him win it than McCain”

I dont know who is worst: Huckabee and Ed Rollins trying to purge the Republican Party of the Reagan conservatives, or Mccain trying to force the Reagan conservatives to accept liberalism?

The real issue is not the polls, but how the 30-40% of South Carolina voters who could change their vote or are undecided are affected by the poll data the MSM spews.

If they write Fred off cuz they want to vote for the winner, it’s going to cost Fred the finish he needs.

Some Fred voters could move to Romney just because they don’t want Huck or McCain.

I will at least get some conservative things from Huck. Huck would be solid on Judges if nothing else.

With McCain it 100% Leftist swing in the wind political opportunism.

The bottom line, is that Fred needs to put up or shut up! A presidential campaign is a war, whether he likes it or not. It’s a knock down, drag out, take no prisoner’s war! There are no friends among your rivals. I hope Fred’s last minute negative campaigning works. Negative campaigning, like it or not, is very effective. Fred should have been bashing the front-runners months ago!

Oh, the pollsters do their best to make their polls self-fulfilling.

The polls may be inaccurate, and usually are. But, the MSM and Pollsters tout them to shape the election.

That’s the problem. I never though good Republicans would become puppets of the Media.

Mitt just won Michigan, so he's going to talk about it. And there is this Mitt orgasm right now with the female callers, which is amusing (reminds me of the Bill Clinton 'arousal-gap'' callers). But I think more than anything, the media was calling Mitt DOA, and they were way wrong. Why shouldn't Rush point that out loudly? Media has been trying to push a RINO on us. It didn't work in Michigan (again, Fred did not compete there, so Mitt was choice #2)

I don't think Rush believes the polls. He has stated as much.

Current polling data in FLA is a 4 way tie. You may be right that FLA is where this will be decided.

I don’t think Rush should endorse Fred. He should just make him part of the discussion.

A good Fred caller would help.
