This is a horrible trait in a president. Just look what President Bush has done while trying to get along with the Dims.

I'm in complete agreement with you, Ingtar. When will Republicans learn that you cannot "get along" with people who are dedicated to your (political, at least) destruction? President Bush allows the Dems some of their demands--do they thank him? They do not. They take everything they can get and then stab him in the back.

Liberals are dedicated to co-opting the Republican party, destroying the conservative wing, and turning the U.S. into a socialist country. It isn't possible to negotiate with them any more than with the Islamofascists, and it's a fatal flaw in President Bush's character (IMO) that he can't see this.

John McCain opposed the tax cuts, repeated tried undercutting the War with his “close Gitmo/Anti Torture” PR posturing and swinging in the breeze on Iraq, and tried to sabotage Judaical appointments with his Gang of 14 stupidity.

Wonder if this is what Chris Matthews was talking about about when he, Matthews, alleged that the Toons would pit blacks against Hispanics to get votes.

Don't know if this has been said yet, but for Clinton to say that he "read it in the newspaper" is a TIP OFF that he DID at least have prior knowledge at least--a part in it at most. It's the Clinton's line to "throw people off." Problem is, nobody, including the Clintons, would first have knowledge about something like this throught a newspaper. Period. That then leaves the truth to be the opposite of what he claims.

The Grifters are always too smart by half. It will be demise of them.
