If the MSM hated my dad as much as they do President Bush, I would do everything I could to make sure they could not claim a right to crash my wedding, which they might do if it were held at the White House.

*****

Laura Bush told People magazine in November she fancied the idea of a White House wedding herself but knew it would not be very private. "And of course we want to do what Jenna wants to do," she said.

I'm sure Jenna agrees with you.

I was thinking along similar terms. Why would she want to have a wedding in Washington, even at the White House, President Bush is vilified and not welcome. The wedding at home and private sounds wonderful, reverent, and happy.

If memory serves, Mom ... during one of the early press tours of Prairie Chapel, President Bush pointed to an outside area where he envisioned his daughters being married. A natural church, if you will. All that the family loves is expressed in their ranch ... a perfect place for a perfect wedding.

Just speculating :)
