Let me pay you a compliment. As a recent arrival, I admire your courage in posting nightly vanities.

If wasting bandwidth wasn't carbon neutral, Mr. Arbitrage would have to change his screen name to "Sasquatch".

This guy makes John Kerry seem affable.

And just when you thought he could get no dumber, Mike Huckabee, lifter of immigration policy, decides to steal Thompson’s campaign slogan (with an aded qualifier):

“Mike Huckabee told a crowd today he’s the candidate with consistent social conservative credentials”

I knew Ann was pushing for Romney.

Ann endorsed Mitt Romney six months ago, even though she didn't use the words "I endorse"..

When I pointed out here on FR that Ann was supporting Romney, I was called a dirty liar, and other niceties.

It is really not that hard to read between the lines, based on what people say about candidates, or by what "stories" they refer to in their reporting.

Limbaugh has long been supporting Romney, based on his voice inflections, and based on what he allows callers to say, and based on the media stories he promotes and finds credible.

Hannity also has been supporting Romney for months, as have the bulk of the heavy hitter conservatives in America.

Yes, they all "like" Fred, but they see Romney as the one able to exert the energy and stamina to win the election.

Fred is a fine man. I will have to be dragged kicking and screaming to the voting booth to vote for Mike McRomiani. I still want Duncan Hunter to make a strong showing though.

Did you see the Frank Luntz democrat focus group he interviewed right after the debate last night (it was on H and C tonight)? If you did you’d understand how you can’t be soft and nice to these people. They are beyond hope. You have to to rip them and show everyone how utterly stupid and nuts they are so that other people don’t want to join them. That’s what Ann does...she makes it embarrassing to even consider be a liberal democrat.

Gee, I kinda thought making yourself wealthy by your own labor was a rather conservative ideal. It’s not as if she were forcing people to buy them at gunpoint.

I can tell you the two I won’t vote for UNDER any circumstance.

McLame and The Huckster. And I will have to think real hard before I vote for the rest (excluding Fred). If Fred makes it to Tennessee, he will of course carry the State.

What’s wrong with that? You seem to have a serious problem with capitalism. You find it unfair. What is your beef?

Capitalism is good.

Capitalism works.

And the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil.

"Capitalism" is not one of the more ultimate virtues I've found in our founders' writings and speeches. Freedom however, is and proper capitalism is simply an expression our liberty. And freedom is the point.

When businesses...

...sell out to foreign powers...

...manipulate markets...

...enforce monopolistic practices...

...use artificial means to hold down employee compensations...

...hire illegals...

...are not allowed into foreign markets...

...are a part of a new globalist merchantilism...

...the it is America's business to secure a greater freedom -- for American businesses, American employees, and American citizens of all kinds.

First of all, thre’s nothing wrong with Ann Coulter making herself wealthy with her brains, words and talent.

I think she’s added a lot to the political dialog in this country. She’s written some important books that hopefully have changed some minds over to the conservative side and viewpoint.

Nobody is perfect, but you must try and keep trying. Let’s work with what we’ve got, and we’ve got something good in Ann Coulter, Laura Ingraham, Dennis Prager and others.

If you expect perfection and your idols to toe the line, you’re going to be perpetually disappointed.

Someone has to counter MoDo, Paul Krugman and all the other left wing fruitcakes. Ann is just one of them.

Right on target! Excellent analysis.

However, it is casting pearls before....

Please. Huckabee’s constant dropping of Jesus’ name will have independents, moderates and the liberals running to vote for his opponent. Heck, he’d lose Utah with his not so subtle Mormon bashing. And you can forget any states with large Catholic populations. He couldn’t even win the evangelical vote in Michigan. He’s a huge divider. But then his goal seems to be to tear apart the Reagan coalition, not to get elected. At best, he’s a tool. At worst, he’s acting as Hillary’s stalking horse.

Well, newbie, it’s like this.

Ann Coulter is a conservative - as are Hannity, Ingraham, and everyone else who’s criticizing Huckabee - who is nothing but a stinking RINO.

Is Romney perfect? No, but he’s a lot better than Huckabee. I still hold out some hope for Thompson, who I think is the best of the lot - but if he doesn’t make it, I think Romney is the best of those left.

I hope Hunter and Thompson commit to staying around until Super Tuesday. So far, IMO, the Iowa caucus, New Hamstershire, and Michigan are just so much fart bubbles. As other Freepers have opined, South Carolina is the true beginning for the GOP candidates. McCain may have trouble in South Carolina. I don’t think they have forgotten the campaign of 2000 where he disrespected the religious people there. I can’t give an honest guess how they will view Huckabee. Rooty Giuliani is toast though. Romney is another one I am unsure about. But South Carolina might give him the cold should just because he’s been the Governor of Massachusetts.
