A new Rasmussen poll finds that 17% of Americans think large numbers of legitimate voters are prevented from votingI am still waiting for evidence of one documented case where a properly-registered citizen who showed up at the correct polling place during the proper time-frame was denied the right to vote. I'd be curious to know what method these 17% of Americans believe is being used to disenfranchise "large numbers of legitimate voters." I'd bet that over 99% of this 17% are democrats.

Good point. Is there a single example of a republican voter complaining about the "unfairness" of voter ID?

(Democracy is the theory that the people get the government they deserve, good and hard.)

Even the lawyers who took the Indiana case before the Supreme Court were forced to say that only Democrat voters would be affected by the need for ID. Apparently Republicans do not have the same number of intimidated, feeble, poor or whatever reason the dems use potential voters.
I would be embarrassed to claim democrat affiliation just on the basis of the insulting nature of their argument.
