I am thankful that my world isnt like yours. In my world, all Muslims are not terrorists. The Muslims I work with pray with me. They have dedicated their lives to helping others, and they save lives they dont take them. I feel sorry for you.
That's what is so great about our county.
Funny thing is that I've "worked" with muzzies also. Darul Islam provided me with some really neat lessons of the Religion of Peace. ... I'm sorry, I didn't actually work "with" them.
We are in a world wide insurgency made up of a bunch of groups that are waging an information gathering operations all over the world. In any guerilla operation ,"intel" is what it's all about. Disruption of society and creating chaos will allow the jihadist to come in an offer the disaffected a solution against "the man".
I'm glad that you trust your wife and kids with the muzzies that pray with you on your truck.
As for me..... not so much.
You should do what I did in my spare times when I was TDY in Indonesia and the Philippines ... read an English version of the Koran. Oh and for some real light reading try looking up some of the recent directives for stateside jihadist.
Maybe your muzzie buddies are just the nicest, most understanding, open minded, religiously tolerant muzzies on the planet and would never chose your wife's and child's welfare over some silly directive for muslims to follow in order to further the will of Allah.
I'm just funny that way.
Oh by the way.... "the dedicating their lives to helping others" and "save lives don't take lives..." is really, really sweet.... Is it like the muzzie doctors in England that dedicated their lives to helping people and saving their lives..... right up to when they want to burn them to death or blow them up in an airport.
Like I said, "we live in a great country". You can choose your friends and who you want your family to hang with.... i can choose my friends and people I want near my kids and wife.
Sleep well.
I have read the Koran and also discussed it at length with my friends. They have explained to me that there are a variety of interpretations, and that the parts that are used to incite violence at some mosques can be and often are interpreted very differently elsewhere. They are disgusted with the terrorists and their followers.
They explain to me their beliefs and I accept them. In the 15 years that I have known them, they have saved lives at great risk to their own, they have helped thousands of people. Yes, I sleep well.
You consider my trust in them to be misguided. However, you live in fear of these people, based upon a limited and biased understanding of who they are. There is a big difference between respecting that some Muslims are truly evil, and have twisted the religion to support acts of cruelty and terrorism, and being afraid of a female high school track star.
