CNSNews.com) - Human rights activists are demanding that Iran abolish its practice of stoning people to death.A new report, published Monday, comes as nine Iranian women and two Iranian men are now awaiting that "cruel and unusual" fate, Amnesty International said.AI calls stoning a "grotesque and unacceptable penalty" that should be halted immediately.Article 102 of Iran's Penal Code says that men should be buried up to their waists and women up to their breasts for before the stoning begins. Article 104, which refers to the penalty for adultery, says the stones used should be large enough to cause pain but not so large as to kill the victim immediately.

How about: "As Stone Shortage becomes critical"; or "Inaccurate Throws Hurting Bystanders"; or "Reporters having difficult time covering executions because of mis-throws";
Sorry, but it is hard to enjoy humor on this topic.
I agree that Iran punishes people for the wrong things, but I can’t say that I’d personally rule out stoning for ALL offenses. It seems quite an appropriate punishment for serial killers, child rapists, etc.
What is wrong with these people?
Due to Bush’s refusal to even discuss Kyoto, Iranians are forced to rely on stoning to replace just gassing them. The plants that make the gas put too much carbon in the air, you see..
“Scientific consensus suggests that throwing stones contributes to global climate change.”

Mullah Dylan insists "Everybody must get stoned."
“Article 104, which refers to the penalty for adultery, says the stones used should be large enough to cause pain but not so large as to kill the victim immediately.”
Of course. We wouldn’t want them to die immediately, not until they’d had a chance to suffer for a good long time.
I’m sure the Koran specifies the right size stones to use. Or there’s always “Ask the Mullah.”
We all know that Code Pinko reserves their outrage for people who put panties on other peoples’ heads.
Even Rosemary, Lily and the Jack of Hearts...
Here’s the lib argument to Iran: “Don’t you realize that this practice is tarnishing your good image?”
They could always switch to the death of a thousand cuts where the victim is doped up on opium and left to linger in a haze (that prevents the body from going into a state of shock) while he is slowly dismembered piece by piece.
There are societies that instituted all sorts of techniques for sadistic cruelty.
Matthias: Look, I don’t think it should be a sin, just for saying “Jehovah”.
[Everyone gasps]
Jewish Official: You’re only making it worse for yourself!
Matthias: Making it worse? How can it be worse? Jehovah! Jehovah! Jehovah!
Jewish Official: I’m warning you! If you say “Jehovah” one more time (gets hit with rock) RIGHT! Who did that? Come on, who did it?
Stoners: She did! She did! (suddenly speaking as men) He! He did! He!
Jewish Official: Was it you?
Stoner: Yes.
Jewish Official: Right...
Stoner: Well you did say “Jehovah. “
[Crowd throws rocks at the stoner]
Jewish Official: STOP IT! STOP IT! STOP IT RIGHT NOW! STOP IT! All right, no one is to stone _anyone_ until I blow this whistle. Even... and I want to make this absolutely clear... even if they do say, “Jehovah. “
[Crowd stones the Jewish Official to death]
Here’s the lib argument to Iran: Don’t you know Bush was the butcher of Texas’ death row? You don’t want to be like Bushhitler do you?
That’s weird. I just googled for “Ask the Mullah,” to see what they had to say about stoning, and the site seems to have vanished.
What’s a good Muslim to do if he has questions about foot washing, wife beating, or the like?

"Dave agrees, man!"
The libs keep claiming that getting stoned is safe.
Dave’s not here.
