I'm not sure there's any real need to "understand" a culture that eats children's hearts, any more than is required to stamp the abomination out.

I'd say that in order to stamp it out, you first have to understand it. But neither do I think it's the U.S.'s job to clean up Africa.

I do. Better us than leave it to Islam. They will take the evil they find there and enjoy, and add it to the evil they already enjoy.

One way or another, the time is going to come where Africa will have to be dealt with. How bloody and messy it will be depends on how long we let the cancer fester and grow.

Africa won't be cleaned by the US. We collectively do not have the will or the ruthlessness to do it. China on the other hand ....
