New Jersey will soon become the latest state to legally honor a person's so-called "gender expression."
Homosexual activists are praising New Jersey lawmakers for adding cross-dressers to the list of those protected by the state's supposed "hate crimes" law, and for allowing judges to impose "sensitivity training" on those accused of violations.
Bob Knight of the Culture and Media Institute is surprised that mainstream media outlets have not given the story more play. "It's really quite a coup for the gay activists in New Jersey," he states. "Because when you put these hate crimes laws on the books, you're putting into place the foundation for throttling freedom of speech, freedom of association and, eventually, freedom of religion."
Knight says many people do not realize that such laws would allow any man, in any job, to begin dressing as a woman and to demand that he be referred to as a woman in all written and spoken communications. More importantly, he notes, the employer would be required by law to allow the male employee to use women's restrooms, locker rooms, and showers.
"I think when that starts happening, that's when people might wake up -- but by then, the law, you know, is already on the books and the damage is done," says Knight. "It's hard to undo these things once they're in force."
Knight notes that what little media coverage has been given to the new law has been overtly positive, which he finds typical of the traditional media. "If it's a disappointment for gay rights advocates, they lead with their plea to overturn the ruling or the decision or the law that they don't like," the family advocate explains. "[But] if they get what they want, they hail the victory. Maybe, way down in the story, you might see a pro-family activist saying, 'You know, this isn't a good thing and here's why' -- although they usually don't get to the why."
New Jersey would become the 12th state to recognize so-called "trans-gendered persons" in law.
How a state can make laws 'protecting' creatures that have serious mental problems is mindboggling. Instead of getting help, the elite political class caters to their sickness which just makes it worse. New Jersey removes freedoms on a regular basis.
The bigger question is why the voters in the People’s Republic of Joisey continue to reelect that elite political class.
What’s next?? This is on the agenda:
Male school children required to wear girls clothes once a week as part of their sensitivity training......
Stay out of New Jersey!
The last sentence in the third paragraph is the “ kicker !”
Just had a silly thought.
Cross-dressing state trooper (let’s say a male but it works the other way as well) stops you on the NJ Turnpike for some infraction while you are transiting the state. In speaking (politely) to the officer, you use an un-PC “wrong” reference to their gender expression.
Have you just violated state law?
Thank God my sister has moved to South Carolina.
You won’t be able to keep people out of locker rooms and restrooms now I guess if they claim to be in the one they want to be in.
Are you serious? Do you have a source?
Carolyn
What about white suburban males who are derided as wi**ers?
Why should you be able to be protected for cross-dressing by ‘gender’ and not cross-dressing by ‘race’?
Our government came very close in the 1990s to concluding that ebonics was indeed a recognized dialect.
So now if I don't like some woman coming on to me & I say get away from me you lez, she presses charges & some judge is going to send me to a class? Now they are going to tell me how to think & my taxes pay for this? Utter BS IMHO.

Our president, who this week was groveling at the feet of the Saudi princes over $100/bbl oil), was wishing Happy Kwaanza (phony holiday invented as a joke by a Black Panther) to the loonies who 'celebrate' this silliness.
