I thought there was a three-year statue of limitations on income taxes. Did that change?

No statute of limitations on tax fraud. There is a three year statute of limitation on collection if no fraud was involved. Also, the statute starts running when you file your return. No return, the statute does not start to run.

What he said. The filing part is the kicker. If you didn’t file in 1985, I reckon they can come after you for that.
